Set up in 2013, Gjmàla produces camel milk for both dairy products and cosmetics, including soaps and lotions.
Camel's milk is richer in vitamin C and lower in lactose than cow's milk, and is often used as an alternative to formula for newborn babies.
Located in the mountainous area of Trecastagni, Sicily, the farm is said to be only the second of its kind in the whole of Europe.
