Snapshot: Fairtrade market bags from Oaxaca

Launched in 2020 by Honey Simmonds and Jack Exton, Lalo is a range of shopping and handbags designed in London.

Made in collaboration with the Oaxacan weaving community, Lalo makes bags entirely from recycled PET plastic.

Each item is hand-woven by female artisans, using traditional Mexican weaving techniques to preserve their trade.
