Snapshot: modern pottery in Sotosalbos, Spain

Out of her workshop in Sotosalbos, in Segovia, Chuión Bek runs Laonpottery.

First arriving in Spain to study, she returned briefly to her native South Korea to learn about ceramics in Gangjin.

She now creates handmade practical tableware and light fixtures, as well as more abstract designs like vases and centerpieces.
